Jeremy Sisto's Biography

His Youth
Jeremy Sisto was born on October the 6th 1974 in Grass Valley, a small town in Northern California. He lived there with his older sister Meadow and parents Reedy Gibbs and Dick Sisto, inside a house completely made out of rocks. This house was build by his parents within the Lower Sierra Nevada Mountains.
His parents divorced when Jeremy was 6 years old, and he moved with his mother and sister to Chicago. At the age of eight he and Meadow began to audition for the various Chicago theatres, although he didn't see much future in becoming an actor back then.

Why he became an actor
Jeremy's opinion about acting changed, after he and his sister were hired by the Goodman Theatre to play in Tennessee Williams' House Not Meant To Stand. He was so satisfied with this job, that he continued acting. Jeremy played in a lot more theatres ever since.

His debut
In 1991, when Jeremy was 16 years old, he did an audition for the movie the Grand Canyon. He was chosen above 2000 people to play the part of Roberto, although he himself thought that they would reject him.

How the story continues
At this point, Jeremy has played various different characters in a quite impressive and still expanding number of movies. He played, for instance, a psychotic killer in Hideaway, a rich spoiled brat in Clueless and White Squall, Jesus and Julius Caesar in the equally named mini-series, a psychiatric patient diagnosed with Multiple Personality Disorder in Inside, and, a former Alcoholic in Thirteen. Furthermore, Jeremy made name as Billy, the Bipolar brother of Brenda Chenowith in the HBO-series Six Feet Under.
Besides acting, Jeremy discovered a new interest in working behind the scenes. In 1998, he produced the (unreleased) movie Taken, together with his friend Ethan Embry. Also, he made movies such as Three Women of Pain and One Point O.
In April 2003, he started his own production company, Dima Entertainment.

What he likes to do
Jeremy likes to play Bocce (Italian bowling) and on his guitar in his spare time.
